Guided Garden Tour: Wildflower Walk presented by AARP Oklahoma
Are you obsessed with everything growing at Gathering Place? Learn more about the variety of gardens and ecosystems at the park with our Guided Garden Tours series presented by AARP Oklahoma. This three-part series includes a guided walk through a specific garden or green area of the park, led by a nature expert, and concludes with a hands-on activity themed around the tour, creating a keepsake for participants to take home as a memento from their experience. Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the experience.
Guided Garden Tours are free for all ages, but spots are limited. No reservations are needed, but tour openings will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
ABOUT WILDFLOWER WALK ON MAY 26
Visitors will walk through fields of native wildflowers at Gathering Place while learning about the diversity of plant life in our prairie mix, get their hands dirty by creating a wildflower seed bomb to take home, and enjoy refreshments from Redbud Café. A wildflower scavenger hunt is optional.
Tour will begin at The Patio promptly at 9:30 a.m.
