More Info

In Elizabeth Brown’s “Morphology,” the artist imagines a landscape of drawings and sculptural installations that are inspired by the natural world, but are forged from an array of natural and synthetic materials, colorful dyes and antiqued papers. An exhibition of her works opens on Friday, Sept. 1 at Living Arts.

A sculptor and mixed media artist, Brown is known for her biological abstraction of forms rich in surface and color. Her work has been displayed in museums and galleries throughout the country. When not creating sculptural designs, Brown shapes aspiring artists as a professor at University of Central Oklahoma’s School of Fine Arts and Design.
